I am having shoulder pain (6-7/10) only when moving my arm inward across my chest. i have no issues raising arm, reaching, or moving arm outward. can do pull ups/chin ups/others with no pain. caused during bench press. is this tendonitis or a tear?

Best is to stop bench presses for a couple of weeks. Sounds more like a strain. Hope you do well.
