Low tib fracture, ankle dislocation, 6 weeks in plaster cast. how long after ankle is manipulated should it be set and alright to try to walk again?

Dependson severity: If severe, usually 2-3 months after initial treatment (surgery usually recommended), but if mild, 6-8 weeks after initial treatment depending if everything goes well post-operatively. Healing is unpredictable, but general guidelines do allow us to use imaging and clinical findings to help make the best decision for your WB status. Good luck.
