A member asked:

Can chronic nasal allergy be cured forever and what effective treatments are there?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possibly: There is no absolute yes or no answer. Immunotherapy, which can either be with allergy shots or allergy drops addresses the fact that your body is making antibodies to allergic proteins. There are people that go on allergy shots and their symptoms go away and never come back. However, that is not always the case. All medications do is treat symptoms. Medicine is not a cure for allergies.
