An ENT doc is best: Ear nose and throat (ENT) are best suited to look at this area. They have specialized tools including fiberoptics to be able to see the throat area and diagnose your condition. I suspect you may have acid reflux as a cause but you should have a complete ENT exam to make sure nothing else serious is going on.
