A member asked:

Is any doc here who believes in fluoroquinolone cns toxicity? im ruined by it.can something be done?benzos don't work anymore at any dose.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Absolutely: But am unaware of long-term effects. Most of the neurotoxicity seems reversible with discontinuance of the medication. Benzodiazapines may or may not be of assistance when taking the fluorinated quinolone, but if you are having persistent problems after stopping the antibiotic they may not be related to the primary therapy. Good luck.
