Heel laceration: The real issue is how deep is the cut. If its very deep then it needs to be cleaned out and stitched. I would suggest that you show your doctor the site. Also bleeding should have stopped - the fact that it is still bleeding means its a deep cut and this should be checked.

Laceration: If this type of laceration is deep and there has been bleeding for several days repair by suturing may be needed. Tetanus immunization can also be considered.
