See below: You may need antibiotics as well in addition to what you are doing. Consider seeing your doctor to see if you need antibiotics especially if you do not improve.

Blepharitis: A clogged gland is clogging of the meibomian glands. They secrete an oily substance which is a component of the tear film. Hot compresses can soften thickened oil. Oral intake of omega 3 fatty acids can also help to normalize the secretions. Sometimes oral Doxycycline is necessary and helpful.
