A member asked:

Are ectopic beats associated with positional changes (eg bending down or lying on front) a cause for concern in a structurally normal heart?

Ectopics: It could. Change in position sometimes stimulate vagus nerve which slows down the natural rhythm . This can lead to ectopic firing. Most of the time, in a normal heart , these ectopics are of no concern.

No: If the heart is normal and there is no family hx of sudden, premature death, ectopic beats are benign.
