Panic=sudden anxiety: Panic-rapid onset - 4 or more of- heartbeat fast, sweat, shaky, short of breath, chest tightness/pain, nausea/stomach problem, lightheaded/fainty, feeling detached, fear of losing it, fear of dying. Anxiety- excessive worry plus 3 of - keyed up or restless, easily tired, irritable, muscle tension, trouble falling or staying asleep, trouble concentrating. Panic/anxiety may occur in same person.

Anxiety: Heart races, you can feel faint and generally fear of something negative happening is present. Anxieyt and panic is mostly produced by misperceiving situations and interactions. Anxiety states release stress hormones which can affect how you perceive and ultimately if this state continues you can kill neurons in the memory center of the brain.
