Could be TMD symptom: Assuming that your ears have been examined & are clear. Also assuming cold or allergy flare ups ruled out. Plugged ears & tinnitus are common symptoms of temporo mandibular dysfunction (tmd). Trigeminal nerve controls the jaw muscles as well as the tiny muscles that open eustachian tube & ear drum tension. Hence the symptoms. Any changes in pitch of ringing or ear congestion with jaw movement?
