Likley but would have someone look in then jsut to be certain it is not ear wax which is common at your age.

See an otolaryngologist and undergo audiometric studies. Hearing aides may be a temporary or permanent solution. A tinnitus blocker could be considered to handle the ringing. Always use ear protection when using a firearm.

Hello. Unfortunately after 7 weeks, if the hearing or ringing hasn’t improved, then it may be a permanent change. There is still hope that maybe your ENT provider may still be able to help by injecting a steroid into the middle ear space. The farther away from the initial acoustic trauma, the less likely there will be a cure. Call your ENT to be sure they provide this service before your visit.
