Decongestant: If you don't have a blood pressure problem, a decongestant preferably with a mucus thinner like Guaifenesin would be a good start. This should help ear congestion and help cough. If no relief, see primary doctor.

Cough is : From postnatal drainage and clogged ears from inflammation of your eustachian tubes . Chewing gum, yawning, blowing your nose against pinched nostril and taking some allergy medicines will help relieve your symptoms. Drink plenty of fluids. Rinsing your nose with saline solutions helps , too. Consult with your physician if condition worsened. You may need nasal sprays or antibiotics if infected.
