Probably surgery: Elongation of the styloid process (eagle syndrome) is recognized as one of the numerous causes of pain in the craniocervical region.Elongated temporal styloid process (more than 30mm) affects adjacent anatomical structures. Symptoms include unilateral sore throat, difficulty swallowing, tinnitus(saar ringing), unilateral facial and neck pain, and ear pain.Surgical shortening of the process.
