Eagle syndrome: Styloid has to be > 3 cm in Eagle's ,~ 4% has elongation and only 4% of those -have the syndrome, Symptoms shooting jaw/neck pain, swallowing issues, sore throat, tinnitus, dizzy/faint on turning head, Can be treated medically with motrin like products if not allergic or steroids or anitdepressants .If medicine does not work can do surgery . F/u/ w/ ENT , maxillofacial surgeon
