May be a problem: If your foot is "very cold" see your Dr. Right away. It may be a circulation problem. Make sure you follow your doctor's directions so it heals properly. Usually those fifth metatarsal fractures have to be immobilized in a boot. They take about 6 to 8 weeks to heal. Some of them take longer to heal.
