Talus: Talus is latin for ankle, so this is an x-ray finding of swelling in ankle bone, possibly a hairline fracture. Best to consult the radiologist for details.

Osteochondral lesion: The talus is predisposed to fractures involving the cartilaginous portion of it's some. The mildest form of this type of fracture shows the findings you are presenting.
