Can inner ear infection cause dizzy, muscle tension brain fog and then anxiety. i believe i was misdiagnosed with anxiety disorder given wrong meds?

Ear infection: Middle ear infections can cause pain and dizziness, and maybe a feeling of "brain fog" when acute. As you recover, these symptoms should subside. Muscle tension and anxiety are not usually features of ear infections, and could be features of generalized anxiety disorder or possibly others. "brain fog" is a very encompassing term, and needs further exploration.
