Tolerance to pain: Testicular torsion is the twisting of the spermatic cord, which cuts off the blood supply to the testicle and surrounding structures within the scrotum.Pain is associated with torsion. The pain uusally sudden onset and would cause most pieople to seek emergency help. It sometimes has to be differentiated from epididymo-orchitis, an inflammation of testicle and epididymis.Depends on pain tolerance.

Yes , possible: Possible to miss crucial period , to save the testis by untwisting it . May start is discomfort and pain, swelling , involved side will be slightly higher , and can not feel the spermatic cord ( that holds testis ) immediately has to go to er for emergency surgery.
