Ok: It is ok to rinse this way but it is much better to use over the counter artificial tears to do this---and safer.

Postop LASIK: It is best not to rub or touch the eyes for the first week after lasik. Additionally, the eyes are at potential risk for infection for the first two weeks. By 10 days, it should be ok to wash your eyes out, but better to just wash the outsides. Use tear drops if the eyes are uncomfortable. http://www.doctorsforvisualfreedom.com/lasik-and-dry-eyes.html.
