It depends: The fixation light helps you focus on a target during lasik. Your eyes will be anesthetized during the procedure and most people, even if light sensitive, are able to tolerate the light.

Probably not: The lights from the microscope are sometimes bright so that the surgeon can see what he/she is doing during the procedure. Fortunately, during the part when you have to carefully look at the red fixation target, the other lights are usually turned way down low to make it easier for you to see and fixate on the red target. You should be fine!
