This is something to: Discuss with your surgeon. Knowing what surgical procedure was done and what yep of fixatio utilized whether pins, screws, staples or plates, if the joint was involved etc would help one give an idea. Since we can not see a post op xray, you really need to rely on your surgeon. Speedy recovery.

Sorry to hear: It can take nearly a year for full recovery sometimes depending on type of surgery, trauma, medical history, age, known possible complications, compliance with post-operative instructions, smoking, nutrition status, etc. I agree to see your surgeon to have specific recovery period. Recovery time varies: Recover time will vary depending on many factors including age, general health of the patient, infection control, smoker or not, blood sugar control, the exact type of procedure, and post-operative and follow up care. Discuss it with your surgeon and get their opinion as to what they feel is a reasonable recovery time for you.
