i fractured right pinky toe in the joint of the proximal phalange. 6w, surgical shoe, not healing & still pain. next? cast/surgery? can i delay for a better time to not be able to drive?

5th toe : Give it time/// I have never run across one that needed more than time and waiting to bet better wear a shoe or sandal that is comfortable and wait it out casts and surg are not indicated imho do check your vit d level and get it up to ~ 50 this will help with healing.

I believe you could: You could delay the surgery for little while, this elective surgery. Good luck.
