Anxiety is common: Anxiety is a common problem for humans both young and old. The best treatment for anxiety is learning how to breath through or manage the anxiety without going on medications. Mental health medications can be harsh, over treat the problem and can be addicting. There are many natural ways to learn to manage one's symptoms for anxiety and this life skill will only serve you well as you age.

We Tend 2 Minimize: ...The harmful impact of chronic anxiety - esp. On kids' growth & development. What's more, many don't recognize it in kids ...Don't know what 2look for. Often it's misread as anger. This is too bad b/c education about anxiety -how it ticks, what helps - & behavioral interventions r highly effective in treating it. Medications may calm the body but they don't give a person the skills 2manage it.
