Could be : Bad. Injecting a already injured ligament which may be partially ruptured with a steroid could cause a full rupture if injury is fairly new. Do you have any medical background?

Injection: The location of this ligament could mean peroneal damage as well, and injection acutely into an injured ligament/ tendon could lead to further tearing or damage to integrity.
