Yes: pain after procedures like joint injections or other complications like bleeding can happen. Usually after applying ice to the area for 15' on and off for 2 hours should improved. If after a couple of days your symptoms persist or worsen, or if you developed fever call the provider that gave you the injection. Numbness is not frequent complication, if persist tell your doctor.
