Not necessarily : It means the radiologist is a thorough fellow who wants to be sure of what he/she is seeing because someone's health is resting on his/her hands. Take it easy and wait for the results. I realize it's easier said than done but do your best. Good luck.

It is not uncommon: for a mammogram to follow a breast ultrasound when evaluating a lump or other symptom in the male breast. It doesn't, per se, mean that there is something suspicious. They are complementary studies. If you had a lump, and the ultrasound didn't show anything, mammo would be the next step. If it did show something, a mammo might also be performed to further evaluate it.
