See below: Ask your doctor whether or not you have uveitis/iritis, scleritis, or episcleritis. I have no other ideas as to why corticosteriods are being used to treat you.

Uveitis: Your description sounds like you have uveitis. Bloodwork and other testing can be performed but the cause often time is unknown.
