A member asked:

I was born in 1959 with congenital cataract. i was referred to eye specialist in hopes of removing cataract in left eye. i have been self-conscious all these years because my left eye wobbles. will removing cataract help stabilize the eye?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No I am sorry to say the nystagmus present in the left eye will not improve and neither will the vision. Best of luck.
