How normal would it be for my top wisdom tooth to be rubbing aganist my cheeck?

The reason for this rubbing is that you do not have enough space for the wisdom tooth to be in a normal, functioning position. Extraction is indicated. Talk to your dentist or an oral. Surgeon about this.

Yes it can be normal for you. The tooth could have erupted closer to the cheek because that was the easiest place for the tooth to erupt. With a tooth in this position, it is usually a little harder for you to brush the tooth. I would recommend you seeing your dentist to determine if you should have the tooth extracted.
