Good question: Technically an addiction to anything implies a problem relationship with the substance or behavior. In general caffeine used in moderation may actually help certain conditions, and how much depends on what it comes in, as to other healthy nutrients in the caffeine containing source, but a dependence with overconsumption is generally not healthy. And addiction is definitely not healthy.
