A member asked:

How long can you be in the hospital for knee sugrey?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends which type: Of surgery you are having? Generally the scope surgery is outpatient surgery; a knee replacement surgery would probably require at least 3-5 days of hospitalization, in those who require it; about 2-3 days for fracture fixations. Your orthopod would be better placed to tell you how long your surgery would take or the length of stay?
