Evaluation: It is possible the nerves were damaged and the tooth may fall out, which is a little early but should be okay. However, she should be further evaluated by her pediatrician or family doctor to be sure the tooth does not risk becoming infected or impacted into the gums.

Maybe: That tooth will be lost natural by age5-6. If dead and infected best to get it removed so it doesn't affect the developing adult tooth beneath it.

Observe it: If the tooth has turned dark and there are no other signs of infection or injury, just continue to observe it. There often is no need for treatment. In a few cases the tooth can abscess due to the death of the pulp inside the tooth. The body can't get in there to heal. So it is important to watch for that.
