Probably: Splenic rupture occurs most often in the first month after mononucleosis is diagnosed. If your spleen is not palpable by your doctor it should be safe for you to work out 2 months after diagnosis. Do not traumatize the left upper part of your abdomen/left front-side of your rib cage during your work outs as this is the location of the spleen when it is enlarged.
