Impingement: You may have nerve impingement around the knee to the outside nerves (peroneal). Try to get evaluated by your doctor for advanced imaging. Hope this helps.

Could be: Many things. But the numbness usually is caused from a nerve problem. Could be other things as well but i would consult a neurologist for this and get a nerve conduction study.
