Heat and Sun Safety: During summer heat- important to keep your place as ventilated as possible. Infants are especially sensitive to heat. Your infant may need more frequent breastfeeding or if bottle feeding more formula. Do not give water. Also keep baby well shaded if outside- avoid 10am-2 pm when sun is most intense. Never leave infant alone in the car even for a few minutes. Use cooling centers if available.
