I have not heard: of that occurring due to trigger point injection. What was the trigger point injected with. I would consult back with the doctor who performed the injection.

Unusual: Trigger point injections approach a localized phenomenon. It would be unusual for this to cause a more generalized adverse effect, and for such a prolonged period of time.
