Sleep apnea?: Acid reflux can be a big problem of your teeth and it is important to, get this treated. Do you snore or wake up gasping for air. Are you tired during the daytime? Are you overweight ? These are a few signs of sleep apnea and this can cause acid reflux. Talk to your doctor about this and a sleep study to diagnosis sleep apnea. Medications can help acid reflux but will not cure it.

Yes: Gerd can erode your enamel and damage your teeth . It is important to know that overeating and comsuption of excessive acidic food could have similar dental problems .Though some dentist claim to be able to tell the difference between the two, it may not be easy. Hence practice gerd precautions and your doctor may put on proton inhibitor. Minimize overeating or comsuption of acidic food.
