A member asked:

Thx dr.hatem, i did cd4 count just to make sure that my negative results are done by a good immunesystem, especially to trust my neg. hepatitis c result?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

HIV negative: Labs can make mistakes, but i would trust that 10 tests done over two years, all with consistent result, are extremely unlikely to be all wrong. There is a difference between absolute and relative CD4 counts. If you have symptoms, talk to a doctor about further evaluation.
