Safety First: Before doing any whitening you should make sure you do not have gum disease or cavities. If you are good, then otc can be crest white strips or whitening toothpaste. If you want a prescription then you will need to go to the dentist for tray whitening or zoom whitening or other techniques. Sometimes just a cleaning will help. Fyi whitening won't whiten fillings, silver or white.

Tooth Whitening: The white fillings will not bleach. Color changes coming from silver fillings will also not bleach. If you wish to have whiter teeth by bleaching (whitening) do the bleaching with the understanding you will need to replace the white fillings to match the new color. If the fillings are good keep them.
