What are the complications of an untreated ruptured stomach (organ)?

Very serious: Stomach (gastric) perforation may be from an ulcer. It would cause very severe abdominal pain and peritonitis with progressive internal infection. This requires emergency surgery to repair the perforation. Untreated would result in death from progressive peritonitis and infection.
