Peptic ulcer: An inflamed stomach (gastritis) can lead to stomach rupture if it develops into a gastric ulcer that becomes perforated - a complication where by the contents of the inside of the stomach can open into the area outside of the stomach. This would be a surgical emergency.

Please clarify: Don't understand quite well but a ruptured stomach is serious and patients are usually sick. Perhaps you mean a hernia?
