Lasik 5 weeks ago. right eye extremely dry. punctal plug is in, taking omega 3s, using drops hourly. would it be worth going on restasis? or wait?

Restasis: This drop will help but the effect takes weeks to feel. Restasis works better when started months before lasik. Pass this on to friends thinking about getting lasik.

Post-LASIK dry eye: Restasis takes quite a while to take effect but i think it is appropriate in your situation.

Probably worth it: Restasis takes some time to begin to work, so it may well be a good idea to start it now. Little downside to doing so--but you should discuss this option directly with your lasik surgeon.
