Time for punctal plu: It appears that you need to go to next step of dry eye treatment. have you tried Restasis? If not I would start with that and also punctal plugs. They can try the collagen plugs first and see if you see improvement and then try the permanent plugs.

What can I do regarding sore, dry eyes In the morning? Ophthalmologist diagnosed eye allergies and dry eyes. Using Restasis & Cromolyn eye drops. Artificial tears as needed and warm/cool compresses. At night I use Systane Gel 2 drops per eye?
