A 38-year-old male asked:

See a physician: You may want to get another opinion. At your age i would expect the fracture pain to improve significantly after 2 - 3 weeks. Therefore, there may be something else going on, or the fracture may be more severe than thought, or it may not be healing. Sometimes, if range of motion (therapy) is not instituted in a timely fashion, pain can also result from that.

No: The skin test is a screening test to see if you might have been exposed to or contracted tb. If the skin test is positive, a chest x-ray is done to see if you have active tb.

See below: The best way is to be there for your loved one. Rehab facilities have very liberal visiting hours in general and the more you can be there the better. Rehab teams love to get families involved with the rehabilitation process as well.

Cartilage: Xray doesn't show cartilage damage. If knee pain is persistent despite normal x-ray then MRI should be done to explore other possible cause.

Depends on your hist: It all depends on your medical history. Your medical history (how this all developed, what medical issues you normally have, what medicines you take, lifestyle considerations), is what lets your doctor know what risk factors you have and allows him/her to narrow the list of possibilities down and come up with just a few possible diagnoses to choose from. Looking at the rash helps too.

Last night I had major tingling all over the palm or my right hand. I do computer based work all day and ipad at night. Is this carpal..?

Hand numbness: There is a good chance that what you are describing is carpal tunnel syndrome. If this continues wear a wrist splint at night. If this does not solve the numbness then you need to discuss this with your doctor.
