Immobilization: Even small non displaced fractures can be difficult to heal unless immobilized properly. Easy way to immobilize fingers is to strap them together with simple tape. You can change the taap as needed. Follow up with your hand orthopedic surgeon and see occupational therapist.

Common: Small hand fractures, it sounds like you had a volar plate avulsion fracture, take a long time to heal. Its critical early on to get the finger moving normall. Buddy taping and early motion can be helpful. It is normal for these to take many months for pain and stiffness to resolve. I’d check in with a hand surgeon and have an updated xray. Referral to a hand therapist can be very helpful.
