How can you determine the difference between braxton hicks, real contractions and gas pain? i'm 32 weeks

Good question: Braxton-hicks contractions are real contractions. They can be regular or irregular. Labor is regular contractions becoming progressively closer, and usually do get further apart or resolve. There is also cervical dilatation as well. Gas pain is usually irregular and may be scattered around the abdomen. It may take evaluation in the office or labor and delivery to tell the difference.
