Prozac (fluoxetine) elimination: Prozac has an elimination half-life of 70 hours, with its active metabolite (norfluoxetine) at 330 hours. That means it will take 70 x 5 = 350 hours (or a little over 2 weeks) for fluoxetine to be gone from your system. It will take much, much longer for norfluoxetine to be eliminated also.
