Doc asked me to taper off prozac (fluoxetine) from 40 mg to 30mg in a way that take 20mg on weekends and 40 on weekdays. is this the right way.

How to taper prozac (fluoxetine): that seems rather odd. I generally don't see any problems with going down straight from 40 to 20mg if you do want to do 30mg, why not do 40 and 20 on alternate days
