Not typical but...: This is not a typical reaction. I have never heard anyone else saying it made their navel sore. But it's possible you are sensitive to one or more of the ingredients in the particular vitamin you tried. Many vitamins (esp. Inexpensive ones from drug stores like centrum) contain potentially toxic additives like artificial colors, titanium dioxide, bht, hydrogenated oils, gmo corn starch-see comment:.
