A Whole Lot: There could be a few things going on, but usaually simple viral processes resolve by this time. I would be curious if your doctor did any evaluation. You child is young, so i would insist that something is wrong (and if any worrisome symptoms (e.g. Lack of responsiveness, fast breathing, turning blue, or not being able to keep any fluids down) i would take him to be seen at urgent care/er.
